Austin Healey 3000 Mark II-1962 images

A British magazine, The Motor, tested an Austin Healey 3000 Mark II in late 1961 and recorded a top speed of 112.9 mph (181.7 km/h). The light weight roadster, with a cockpit style driver’s seat, is powered by a 2912 cc  (2.912 L) six cylinder engine coupled to a short throw, four speed standard transmission. The well engineered engine with overhead valves and twin SU carburetors can also do 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 10.9 seconds, The Austin Healey will get  up to 24 miles per gallon or 12 L per 100 km under ideal conditions.
