There aren’t many rides like the Vanderhall Venice. This American-made three-wheeler blends the open-air thrills of a motorcycle with the stability of a car. This ultra-light $30,000 trike may only have three wheels, but don’t let its looks fool you—the Venice uses a turbocharged four-cylinder to hit 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. Not quite the kind of trike you puttered around on as a kid.
We spent a few hours with the Venice on some of Malibu, California‘s curviest roads, and these are the 14 things we learned.
