Introducing the 65 Malibu MCF Member 520 HP Street Rod, where Jeffery E. takes us on a joyride with his beloved 1965 Chevelle Malibu. Originally a humble 6-cylinder, this beast now roars with a 520 HP, 454 engine under its tuxedo black hood. With a Ford nine-inch rear, Moser axles, and Hotchkiss suspension, it’s the car equivalent of a gym buff in a tux. Collecting trophies and turning heads, Jeffery’s hot rod is a testament to the art of muscle car magic—proof that age is just a number when you’re built like this!

My car is a 1965 Chevelle Malibu that I have owned for 19 years.I found the car through a friend and originally the car had the 6 cylinder motor. That motor had been replaced with a 1974,454 engine. The car was also repainted the original tuxedo black. All the front end components have been replaced and I have rebuilt the engine which now has about 520 HP and 524 ft.lbs. of torque.
The rear end has been upgraded to a ford nine inch and has Moser axles and a Strange Engineering center section.Keeping that in place is a Hotchkiss suspension and some other bolt on goodies. My car is a lot of fun and has even collected some trophy’s along the way. I love my Hot Rod
