Okay, the quick summary:
I am a sixty-four-year-old retired/disabled mechanical engineer and I’ve always been a car nut. My first car was a 70 Barracuda that I bought in 72.
I restored a Couple of Ford full-size cars, a 65 and 67. I also owned a 53 and a 54 F-100 pickup trucks.
I drove The 53 for a few years but didn’t complete the restoration for either truck and traded both trucks and all parts for an 82 Chevy van.
I have several cousins still active and my next door neighbor has a few cars and is always tinkering.

Had my ’79 Camaro for 14 years.. helped Mechanic at dealership where I detailed vehicles at take out 305 & replace with small block 350… Weiland manifold- rest Edlebrook- Did get 3 speeding tickets breaking her in- LOL!! But ohh so worth it!! I’m a car-gal.. & thank you.. have some pics to dig up.. right now working on ’68 Cutless…

I knew some of the drag racers of the era because they all street raced to some degree before Sunday Drag races at Motor City Dragway
Yes.. Please give me a few days.. Been auto detailer 30 years but miss the lot were I had all the fun cars to do – from the ’30’s to the then present day.. I never knew what I’d find in my bay Mon morning!! Prob the only person who didn’t dread Mondays.. haha!!
