Corvette 2019 Mid Engine Car Could Be In Showrooms Late 2018. The 2019 Corvette C8 will have a mid-engine power plant that will probably be downsized to a mid-engined revival of the original ZR-1 engine concept: a 32-valve V-8, and possibly an “E-Ray,” hybrid powertrain option.
The price is expected to start at $80,000, and of course rise as the power and options rise.
