Walter Banks parked his 2016 Mustang Shelby GT 350 along a grove of trees, providing maybe a smidgen of shade on a warm late spring day.

“I’ve always been a Mustang and Shelby guy, since I was 15 years old,” the Lowcountry Muscle Car club member said. His first model: a six-cylinder 1967 Mustang, and he’s owned a number of other models over the years.
