Pontiac Bonneville 1959 Convertible

Cruising in style, the 1959 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible in dazzling white paint isn’t just a car—it’s a statement. Owned by Ron Rufo, this beauty boasts a 389 CI Tri-Power Engine, perfect for those who like their nostalgia with a side of horsepower. Ron’s love affair with this classic began with a childhood crush on a neighbor’s Pontiac Catalina, culminating in a chance encounter at a Tinley Park car show. The car won “Best Of Show,” and Ron won the car—and perhaps a lifelong friend—in 2001.

The car’s Owner is Ron Rufo. Ron shares as a kid he remembers a neighbor having a 1959 Pontiac Catalina and always liked the look of the car. While driving into a car show in Tinley Park he happened to park next to this car. He was impressed with the car as the car won “Best Of Show” that day, met the Owner, and they started a friendship. In 2001 the Owner ended up selling the car to Ron.
