Pontiac produced the Chieftain beginning in 1949, and ending with the third generation in 1958-the only #year for the G3. Longer and lower are the buzz words in 1958 and the new air suspension smooths out the ride. The occupants could listen to a new and much more reliable transistorized #AM radio, if it was checked on the order sheet. Under the hood the engine is the largest yet- this #V8 is now 370 cubic inch (6.1 L) #sheet #SuperHydramatic #MCF #GatewayClassicCars #PontiacChieftain ...

Government interference and industry regulations restricted the market, and many thought that beautiful, powerful muscle cars were a thing of the past. After a few final great vehicles, muscle cars faded away from the picture.

Careless removal of trim is all too common due to an attitude of, “Well, I’m replacing everything with new anyway, Jack!”
Not so quick, Sherlock. Some investigation would encourage you to be more careful. #Original moldings are not easy to obtain brand new. Plus, reproduction trim pieces might be on the thin side or not fit so well, like around corners, for a certain series of muscle car.
