Buick GS 350-1971 images

The 1971 Buick GS will run on regular unleaded gasoline to accommodate the catalytic converter, with lower toxic exhaust emissions the goal. The standard factory equipment 350 is now a lower compression engine producing 55 less HP than last year. There were 89,1070 of the GS produced in ’71 and 902 of them were convertibles. The balance and majority of  the GS manufactured in ’71 were 2 door hard tops-at 88,000 plus units.
