Dodge Coronet R/T 1967 images

For the 1967 model year Chrysler head office decreed that the hemi engine would only be available for vehicles  badged as muscle cars in each division. The top power option for any other models would be the 383 ci  V8 with a four barrel. Regardless of this edict there was a small, but unknown number of ’67 Hemi powered Coronet two door sedans created on the Dodge assembly line. There was also one only Coronet two door hardtop and one only Coronet 500 two door hard top also built in 1967 with the hemi engine. These few exeptional Coronet units were for sale to the general public and not included with the 55 WO23 Hemi powered Dodge stock cars destined for drag race circuits.
