The Dodge Coronet comes from the arguable height of the muscle car era – when enthusiasm for big-engine, bright colored coupes was at an all-time high. The Coronet isn’t really comparable to the most famous cars from that time, however. It doesn’t have the pedigree of the NASCAR-bred Roadrunner or the reputation of the Charger, but that doesn’t mean Dodge never tried to make it cool.
