It was rated a whopping 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.     1. My dad bought my 2 brothers 2 1970 SS396 with 350 hp. The SS’S also came out with 2 454 that year 1 had 365hp and the other 1 LS6 HAD 450HP. Do your research before you start texting crapp! Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU

  2. My late brother Ang had the very same exact car I’ll never forget it he drove my ex-wife and I to the hospital when she gave birth to my first son beautiful car white interior same exact color stick shift on the floor awesome

  6. My favourite muscle car! Just a mean looking driving car and its a real muscle car! not a pony car like mustang camaro and not four door like charger

    1. LS-7 wasnt aluminum , wasnt much differant than the LS-6 plus it never went into production , was sold over the counter as a GM crate engine

    2. Has aluminum heads. Some were sold by dealers. I worked at Aiken Chevrolet.
      Like cross ram 302 it was a dealer option. But some come off truck to lot.
      I should of said Aluminum Heads.

    3. Either way still never went into production , was sapose to go into 70 Corvette but never happend for Insurance reasons
