2013 SRT Viper vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series!
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Motor Trend‘s Jonny Lieberman pits two members of the “more than 600 horsepower club” against each other – the 2013 SRT Viper & the 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series. It’s a three-bout heavyweight match that begins with real world canyon carving, moves on to an all-out quarter mile drag race, and then finishes with blistering hot laps around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with hot shoe Randy Pobst.
Despite a huge gap in price, both of these long-nosed, front-engine, RWD, two-seat brawlers represent significant revisions of their wild predecessors. Will good old fashion American muscle beat out German Engineering? Join us as we find out.
