Man Saves 69 Ford Ranchero from Lowrider Hell

This from one of our Muscle Car Fan members, Jeffrey Harkins of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He owns a 1969 Ford Ranchero which was doomed to a life of lowrider Hell until he purchased the car 8 months ago. Here is what he said to me in an e-mail conversation.
My motor is a 302 Ram Air out of an 85 Mustang with an auto trans. When I got the car it was a half ass low rider with side pipes, which I quickly removed.I have had the car for about 8 months and some of the work I have done is beefed up the suspension and reworked the front end as well as replacing the floor pans. Rims and tires are next.
I also love old wagons and my wife and I were at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale AZ looking at a wagon for her this past January. The pic with the side pipes was how she looked when she was purchased (low rider sag) but now she sits up proud with new big block springs and re-arched rear leafs. Craiger SS’s and BFG TA’s are on order before the 20th which is her first show this month here in Albuquerque.
