Massive Fire Destroys over 150 Classic Cars Today in Illinois

A massive fire on 08-08-2017, destroyed and damaged over 150 classic cars in Staunton Illinois.

In the aftermath of the disaster charred shells of classic cars,  were seen scattered thruout the once pristine interior of the main building of Country Classic cars.

One of a kind Hemi Roadrunners, Chevelles, Camaro’s, Torino’s and dozens of classic car brands are now  charred beyond repair.

The business is located off Interstate 55 about 40 miles northeast of St. Louis and they are known  for their

impressive display of more than 650 classic cars and trucks. It’s officially at at 2149 East Frontage Road, but sits along an old section of Route 66.

The cause of the blaze is unknown and the damages will total up in the millions. The fire was under control by 11pm and the investigation is ongoing,
