Cadillac Series 62 – 1951 images
The Cadillac series 62 was made from 1940 through 1964, although the “62” is altered to “6200” series in 1959. The more uptown Coup[e De Ville 1951 series 62 sports more chrome; including full length chromed rocker panels and the scripted logo on the rear roof pillar. The engine under the hood of this ’51 is the 331 CID V8 coup[led to a 4-speed automatic transmission and would deliver about 12 miles per gallon at 45 mph.
