Here’s the most expensive car on the floor of the LA Auto Show
Want a car that will go from 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 185 miles per hour? And how about throwing in some Italian leather seating and lots of carbon fiber components to reduce the car’s weight by 200 to 300 pounds while we’re at it?
Highlights of this year’s show include a big gathering of Shelbys: Cobras, GT40s, G.T. 350s and G.T. 500s. Of course, MCACN being MCACN, many of these are extremely rare models, one-offs, prototypes, and the like. New for 2016 is a class for Day Two cars, and from what we’ve seen already, those will be some of our favorites at the show.

While I hadn’t realized it, all of the Dodge Challenger and ChargerHellcat cars we have featured running in the 9-second range have been running high octane race gas, but earlier this week, Robert Lamb ran a 9.993 with his HellcatCharger running on 93 octane gasoline – making his supercharged Mopar the first to run in the 9s on pump gas.

I always dreamed about those orange Judges as a kid. I passed one in a driveway every day walking to catch the school bus. Not sure why I've seen red, white and blue Judges if this story is true though.
