A lot of the fun I get out of digging up old road tests for MCR is imagining what it must have been like to be a car magazine writer back in the glory days. That had to be the coolest job in the world, testing now iconic muscle cars when they were new cars with scant miles on them just waiting to be flogged over mountain roads and at the nearest dragstrip.
