One of none: Building A One-Off, GTO wagon Two-Door

Franz Kafka, a Prague German-language novelist and short story writer who is widely regarded as one of the major figures of 20th century literature once said that first impressions are always unreliable. You can probably toss assumptions in that mix as well, since they too are usually flawed.

When you look at Ed Roethel’s two-door Pontiac wagon, the first impression, and logical assumption, is that it is a converted ’64 or ’65 two-door Chevelle wagon. If that’s your best guess, then you’ve just had a ‘Kafka’ moment. The car is a legit Pontiac wagon. While plenty left the factory as four-door models, two-door models never existed – until now.
