200 Photos From the First Driving Leg Of HOT ROD Power Tour 2017
The Power Tour is a Mecca for all manner of motor’d madness. At each venue the show is packed with just about any kind of car candy one could hope to see. But that’s not what really makes the event special. Anyone can cruise into their local car show, fold out a lawn chair, and sip beer from the cooler. Power Tour is about driving––serious driving. It takes a toughness of both man and machine to conquer a route many would think twice about attempting in a modern car––and Long Haulers do it in antiques! Today capped the first driving leg of the tour, running from Kansas City, Missouri to the Speedway in Newton, Iowa. We followed the full route snapping pictures of cars, drivers, and bits of America’s heartland along the way.
