Galesburg’s strip rumbles to life once again
On Tuesday morning, the old strip, or what’s left of it, got a nostalgic redo of how a Saturday night in Galesburg looked when gasoline was a pittance and horsepower made the man. About 1,500 muscle cars, hot rods and custom movers of all types passed though town as part of the Hot Rod Power Tour.
