A Roadrunner is not a GTX or vice-versa!
So is it a Road Runner or GTX?
GTX
I had a 68 ROAD RUNNER with a 426 HEMI 727 tork flite it was forest green with black interior and a BEEP BEEP HORN .

My dad had a 68 GTX hemi . But the hemi was gone and was replaced by a 383 magnum . That motor was stronger thang the hemi. And it was a factory 4speed . Bad ass car
Was it modified?
Jim Brewster I’ll ask my dad . It was a long time ago. He sold it them regretted it and tried to buy it back but the guy wouldn’t and the guy chopped it up for the strip I think . Broke my dads heart
1968 Road Runner GTX??? There is no such a car, they were separate models in 1968. In 1972, the GTX was made into a Road Runner option tied into the 440 engine package.
Is it a 4 Spd? That’ll make the price climb.
This is a 69, 440 4speed, Roadrunner
I thought 68 Roadrunner was the first year and GTX wasn’t until 69 ?
They had GTXs in 67…..
I’d say 400 to 500 grand at least !!
Love it
Had 3 RR and never heard of a Plymouth RR GTX…No suck car
gorgeous car…
saw a 69 GTX in Wagoners in Bonnèr Springs KS 2005. Hemi,4spd,convertible.
They wanted $130000 then.
Love it.
