Buick’s awesome Turbo 3.8 liter SFI V6 never made it to the 1988 model year due to the Buick Regal’s transition to front wheel drive in 1988. However this wasn’t the end of this legendary engine, it had one final date with destiny powering the 1989 Pontiac Trans Am 20th Anniversary Edition.
