On warm afternoons my grandfather used to sit in an old metal yard chair in the shade of a tall elm in the front yard of his rural Iowa farmhouse. He’d puff gently on a pipe and smile a contented smile about nothing in particular. Back then, he would stay in that chair a while,It can be done, but you have to be a mechanic and a bodyman and doo the work, not pay someone to do it, otherwise it's not economically sound. I bought a 1969 Road Runner in 1992, for $1200. I ended up having right about $5500 in that car, sold it in 2015 for $16,100.99 on Ebay. Enjoyed it for 22 years and almost tripled my money.

I had a couple of these cars including one someone cut the roof off of and they were tough old cars, smashed through bush roads, jumped them put them places big tractors had a hard time pulling them out of.
