The stock Grand Sport Corvette makes 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque from its LT1 V8. The Yenko/SC package pushes that to roughly 800 horsepower at around 6,200 rpm and 750 lb-ft of torque near 4,200 rpm, using a stroker kit that grows displacement from 6.2 to 6.8 liters, a supercharger, and a stronger crankshaft, H-beam rods, and pistons. The fuel system and injectors are sourced straight from the Z06, feeding the dramatically higher output.
A Legendary Name, A Limited Build
The Yenko name traces back to Don Yenko’s late-1960s dealer-tuned Camaros and Chevelles, and Chevrolet dealers revived it in 2017 for this Corvette package, offered in coupe or convertible form with either a 7-speed manual or 8-speed automatic. The build carried a roughly $46,000 premium over the Grand Sport’s $66,445 base price, and production was strictly limited, making the 2017 Yenko/SC one of the rarest modern Corvette variants on the road.
