His choice
My opinion he doesn’t deserve to own it
And you would his car not yours
His car he can do what he wants. In my opinion a desecration of a once beautiful car. Now going to rot out. What’s his point ? I can because it’s mine. I can tell you he and I wouldn’t be friends
His car his choice
Me I would get it running and drive it like I stole it
He should give it to me so I can take care of it the way it needs to be !!!!!!
It is his car,so get off his back.lol
Restore it
Even so I agree with his premise it’s only original once and it’s her Survivor but there’s no reason it can’t look like its original condition as it stands clean as well no paint just what’s there it will live a longer life and not deteriorate further
Greed or stupidity ?
Both!
He owns it. Hard to find a true survivor.
He had hands on it and knows it better
Agree completely !!!!!!
I’d leave it as is, it’s really not that rough and it has a cool story
It really doesn’t matter. Un-restored cars generate a LOT of interest, sometimes more than the restored ones.
His car…he can do as he pleases with it.
Stupidity only goes so far
Fool
It’s his if he doesn’t want to restore it he doesn’t have too.
I would absolutely LOVE to have a 1968/1969/70 Shelby. I personally could NOT leave this car in this condition. Would absolutely restore. However; this isn’t my car. So my opinion is that this is his car and his business whatever he wants to do with it. His car.
Keeping it original is one thing but at least wash, vac and take the crap out of it. It’s not like a layer of filth adds to the value.
Darrell Leclear
Michael O’hara Kelley
He can do what ever he wants with it. But it will just rot away. Hope he likes it.
why??
It should be in the hands of someone who would give it love an TLC an keep it in as original as possible
If it has been in a barn it shouldn’t be needing any restoration work
It’s his vehicle he can do what he likes it’s nobody’s business but his so myob
I wouldn’t do anything with it either…
Its his frickin car
It’s theirs so any other opinions don’t count.
He thinks the dirt is original and makes the car better, ya can’t fix stupid
This is how mine looked fresh out of the barn. It was covered but was used as a home for mice and squirrels! If it hadn’t been repainted once already, I would have left it original. Instead, I did a total restore.
I like that I got some cards you might want Rob
What ya got Mitch? Pm me
I wander if hes still selling bulls.
Restoring it would length it’s life
I’d restore it.
Restore
Sell it or clean it
It wont make it anymore valuable. Its an over rated Mustang. As most are. Great car but get your head out of the darkness.
What an idiot.
Someone tell the owner this isn’t the 70’s anymore
As I said on a post of original 70 LS 6 barn find. Cars are now worth almost more because a car is only original once. If you dump 40 large on frame off, keep it. Because you can get almost same unmolested.
LOL! Everyone saying he doesn’t deserve it , really? The guy is a high end collector , that Shelby will stand out above the rest trust me , I have both restored and unrestored cars and any unrestored car will draw a crowd everywhere it goes, you don’t restore a Picasso you buy a print of one if you want that… many nice survivor cars were destroyed with concourse restorations in the 90s due to the it isn’t perfect mentality….
I agree leave it alone especially keep it away from gas monkey Richard will cut it up and put air ride trash on it
Exactly Ruth
