The GTX Â integrates head turning style with top performance. This Plymouth is based on the Belvedere, but with an upgraded suspension. The GTXÂ front and rear fascia is borrowed from the Satellite. Standard equipment for the GTX is the Super Commando 440 engine which is rated at 375 hp (280 kW) or the optional 426 Hemi is the top choice for performance. The ’67 GTX with the 440 will do 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 6.5 seconds and can do the quarter mile in 15,2 seconds @Â 97 mph. The 426 Hemi engine cuts the 0-60 mph time to 4.8 seconds with a quarter mile time of 13.5 seconds reaching 105 mph (169 km/h) in the process.
