Sure, 1959 was far before the official muscle car era began and it is America’s sportscar, but this fuel-injected crown sapphire roadster is sporting the hottest performance goodies underneath its mesmerizing exterior.

The wing on this car is made out of a tin roof from an old barn and it's powered by a ford big block on a tube chassie, that's a pretty cool combination! Keeping the car in a rat style look just gives it more personality. It might not be the fastest, nor the prettiest, but we love it!

The Nova SS standard equipment is a 194 cu in inline six cylinder engine, but the full arsenal of Chevrolet large and small blocks is available for the Nova SS. The Base SS version would cost just $159.00 more than the entry level 400 version in 1966.
