This 1965 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport is sporting a super-rare 396 engine, known as RPO code L78. This one was advertised at 425 HP, and it’s backed by a 4-speed manual transmission! How many 4-speed L78 convertibles are left? We don’t know… maybe 5?

Most 396 were pigs. A well tuned 409/425 would eat a 396 for lunch. Notice I said well tuned the 409 had to had the rite tune if so they were fast
