The third generation Mustang was produced from 1978 through ’93, on Ford’s fox platform and is often called the “Fox”Mustang. Throughout the G3 there is a large variation in models, trim levels and drive chain options available. The 1983 model year is the first time a convertible Mustang has been produced since 1974.
