Rich Kent’s ’62 Mercury Comet 429ci BBF E85 fueled 3675lb “Street Car” being tested by his son in law comes up against a new ’15 Dodge Challenger Hellcat 707hp Supercharged 6.2 Hemi on premium fuel no doubt lol at RT 66 Test N tune 4-25-15. The Comet gets the jump wheels up and runs 12.16@110.20mph as the Hellcat spins off the line and comes on strong to run a 13.89@123.08 mph. Mind you this is the Hellcat that ran a 10.87@127.79mph a week before on drag radials. So is this race fair seeing both are in “Street Trim”? Make sure you watch till the end of the video to see the 10.87 Hellcat run. Let the controversy and haters begin…
